Hi there!
It’s time for a new sketch challenge on the MFT Blog and today I’m sharing a CAS card inspired by this week’s sketch, featuring the adorable BB Birthday Chicks stamp set!
To begin, I created the background layer and trimmed down a patterned paper sheet – from the Birthday Brights paper pack – into a square shape. I adhered it on a card front and added a Heavyweight Translucent Vellum layer on it, slightly rotated, in order to mute the colors a bit.
Next, I stamped the cute chicks using Milk Chocolate Hybrid ink and colored them with Copic Markers and added them on my card front, using foam tape to pop them up.
Finally, I heat embossed the sentiment in white on a strip of Summer Splash Prestige card stock and mounted it on my scene, too. Fun, uh?
It’s your turn now!
