Hello friends!
Today I’m back to share a cute card highlighting some amazing products from My Favorite Things.
I really enjoyed making this card – when it comes to mix stamps from different collections together and color them to create a cute scene… I’m over the moon! Such fun!! :)
For this project I decided to create a funny, unusual context where to place my Safari Friends. I stamped all the images with Memento black ink and colored them with Copic Markers – using my colorless blender to add some details and textures in order to make the scene more appealing.
When my coloring was complete, I carefully fussy cut all the images.
Then, I used the BG Wavy Coloring Book Background to create the carpet, stamping its beautiful pattern over the blank shape with Twisted Citron Distress Oxide.
I ink blended some Antique Linen Distress ink on a card base and shaped its lower edge with one of the amazing scalloped die from the Die-namics Stitched Scallop Basic Edges set.
Then, I ink blended some gray ink over the English Brick Wall Stencil and stamped a couple of windows to enrich the scenic look of my backdrop.
Next, I mounted all the elements on the scene using foam tape to pop some of them up, creating a dimensional scene.
Finally, I heat embossed the sentiment in white on colored cardstock and mounted it on my card. I also added a bunch of sparkling clear sequins as embellishment.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Happy crafting!
