Sunny Blooms and Distress Markers

Hi there! Welcome to my blog! :)
I want to start my blogging adventure with this card – one of my very first attempts at card making. I really love how it turned out. I stamped these beautiful Sunny Blooms from Purple Onion Designs on watercolor paper using VersaFine Vintage Sepia pigment ink. Once the ink was dry, I watercolored the whole scene with Distress Markers.
I used bright warm colors for the flowers and softer shades for the background, trying to give it a smoother look. Finally I added some sunny glares on the top right of my panel.

I cut off the colored panel slightly smaller than regular card size and mounted it on a card base where I previously added a diagonal piece of kraft cardstock.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
Happy crafting!
