Spellbinders | Blooming Flowers

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a new project highlighting some awesome products from Spellbinders. This time I used two gorgeous etched dies designed by Marisa Job. I fell in love with her floral designs and I really enjoyed playing with these die sets: they’re so versatile, perfect for every occasion and allow you to create a variety of unique designs.

I started to work on this card by die-cutting the blossom layers from the Shapeabilities Succulent And Mum Flower Etched Dies several times out of white and colored cardstock.
Then, I layered the petals to create three full blooms, alternating the white and the colored layers and stamping the white ones using the main sentiment with matching colors

I dry embossed the front side of a card base using the same blossom dies and added the three layered flowers on it.
At this point, I decided to add a swirly leaf accent to my composition and die-cut a branch out of green cardstock using the Shapeabilities Swirl Leaf Branch Etched Dies. I added some white dots on it with the Nuvo Crystal Drops Gloss White, trimmed it and mounted it underneath the flowers.

Finally, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Creativity Handmade stamp set (by Spellbinders’ designer Stephanie Low) in silver directly on my card base and added some sparkling clear sequins as embellishment.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
Happy crafting.
