I have a fun card to share with you today, featuring Aspen, the lovely owlet from the newest Pine Cone Trail stamp collection. Look at him! Isn’t he cuuute with his little pair of snow shoes, ready to take a walk in the woods?
To begin, I stamped Aspen and the snowy view using brown dye ink and colored them with Copic markers. When my coloring was complete I carefully fussy cut them.
Next, I ink blended some Distress Ink colors (Faded Jeans, Peacock Feathers, Shabby Shutters)
on a white card stock panel, creating a smooth background gradient.
Then, I cut a vellum panel to fit the card sizes and heat embossed one of the sentiments from the Warming Winter Thoughts set on it, before adhering it on my ink blended background.
Finally, I mounted the Snowy View horizon over it, using foam tape for dimension, and added Aspen in the middle of this cute winter scene.
I also added a bunch of sparkling clear stars on the sky to make it shine.
