Pawsome Birthday

AL handmade - Waffle Flower - Pawsome Birthday

Hi there! Today I’m back to share a birthday card, featuring Pawsome, a super fun stamp set from Waffle Flower. These puppies are just perfect for cheerful projects, aren’t they?! :)

I started to work on this card by using the tiny stamps from this awesome set to create a custom background, stamping them repeatedly on a card base with Altenew Evening Gray dye ink.

Next, I die-cut the stitched window panel from Die-namics Blueprints 27 by My Favorite Things out of white cardstock and trimmed it down in order to use only the part with the three windows.

Then, I stamped all my images with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored them with Copic markers – using my colorless blender to add some details. Once the coloring was done, I fussy cut all of them.

Next, I decided to add a splash of color to my background, too – so I did some ink smooshing on my stamped card base using Twisted Citron Distress ink before mounting the window panel onto it. Then, I added the little dogs and all the other elements inside the windows using foam tape for dimension – creating a cute happy scene.

I stamped half of the sentiment in gray on my card base and the other half in green on a piece of green cardstock. The sentiment is from Pawsome stamp set, too.

Finally, I added some glossy accents on the balloons and a couple of sparkling clear sequins as embellishment.

That’s all for today! Thank you so much for stopping by!
Happy crafting!
