It’s time for a new sketch challenge on the MFT Blog and today I’m sharing a project, inspired by this week’s sketch, featuring the amazing Super Friend stamp set and Die-namics.
To begin, I stamped the adorable Koala from the Super Friend stamp set, along with some greenery and stars, and used the coordinating Die-namics to cut them out. Next, I colored all the die cut images with Copic Markers.
I used one of the beautiful patterned paper sheets, from the Poppin’ Polka Dots Paper Pad, to create the background strip and glued it on the left side of a square card base, following the sketch.
Then, I die-cut a circle shape out of Heavyweight Translucent Vellum, using the Inside & Out Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics, and mounted it in the middle of my card base to create a blurred background for my stamped images.
Finally, I heat embossed the sentiment in white on a strip of Summer Splash Prestige card stock and mounted it on my card base along with the cute koala and all the other accents to complete the look.
