The wait is over! The amazing MFT Wild About Rainbows Card Kit is finally here and available for purchase at MFT Store! YAY!
I have a rainbow card to share with you today for the new Card Kit Launch celebration, featuring the gorgeous Cascading Rainbow Die-namics and the Good Vibes Only stamp set.
Infuse your designs with color and send good vibes, kindness and encouragement in any and every way you can!
To begin, I die-cut the amazing Cascading Rainbow out of colored card stock. Here I used Wild Cherry, Orange Zest, Lemon Drop, Limelight, Cornflower and Boysenberry.
Next, I die-cut some layers of puffy clouds out of Smooth White card stock using the Stitched Cloud Edges Die-namics.
I cut off the front panel of a card base and replaced it with a Heavyweight Translucent Vellum panel to create a different kind of background to my card. Then, I adhered the upper cloud layer, the rainbow and the lower layer of clouds on it.
Finally, I heat embossed the sentiment in white on a strip of Pineapple card stock and mounted it on my card along with the bottom layer of puffy clouds, using foam tape for dimension.
