MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge 535

Hi there!
It’s time for a new sketch challenge on the MFT Blog and today I’m sharing a card, inspired by this week’s sketch, featuring the amazing Seaside Seagulls stamp set and Die-namics.

I started to work on this card by stamping the cute images from the Seaside Seagulls stamp set with Milk Chocolate Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. Then, I die-cut them using the matching Die-namics.

Afterward, I used two of the four edges from the Ocean Motion Die-namics to die-cut the waves out of Sno Cone and Summer Splash Card Stock, creating a two-tone blue sea, and mounted them on a Heavyweight Translucent Vellum panel, in order to create the main panel.

Next, I used two pieces of patterned paper – from the Wallpaper Patterns Paper Pad – to create the secondary panel, placed behind the main one, and the background strip.
I glued the background strip on a card front and added the two panels on it, following the sketch.

Finally, I heat embossed the sentiment in white on a strip of Butterscotch Prestige Card Stock and added it to my card front, along with the stamped images and a bunch of sparkling clear sequins to complete the look.

Now it’s your turn!
I hope you’ll play along with us!

Check out the MFT Blog for more information about the Sketch Challenge and more inspiration from the DT. Create and share your projects there for your chance to win a $50 Gift Voucher.
