Hi there! Today I’m sharing a card for the MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #441 featuring the adorable Sweet Spring Friends stamp set along with the Selfie Square Die-namics.
To start, I stamped the adorable images from the Sweet Spring Friends stamp set and colored them with Copic markers. Then, I die-cut them using the coordinating dies and embellished the tree with some flowers, extra leaves and small orange dots.
I die-cut some grass out of a white card stock panel using the Grassy Hills Die-namics, as a perfect ground to my scene, and ink blended it with Twisted Citron Distress ink
Then, I used the Selfie Square Die-namics to die-cut a stitched window out of white card stock and started to add all the elements on the frame’s inside, layering my scene.
Finally, I mounted the frame on a card base, adding a slightly rotated rainbow layer behind it (following the sketch), and stamped the sentiment from the Sweet Spring Friends stamp set using Pineapple dye ink.
Are you ready to play along with us?! :)
Check out the MFT Blog for more information about the sketch challenge and more inspiration from the participating DT members.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Happy crafting!
