Hi there!
It’s time for a new Slimline Challenge on the MFT Blog and today I’m back with a new project, inspired by this month’s theme, featuring the Let’s Curl Up stamp set, the Stitched Slimline Snow Drifts Die-namics and the Birch Trees Die-namics. This month’s challenge theme is “Winter”. Here is my slimline card for the Challenge:
To begin, I stamped the cute foxes and the greenery with Milk Chocolate Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copics before die-cutting them using the coordinating Die-namics.
Then, I die-cut a bunch of tree trunks out of Primitive Cream, Natural and Kraft card stock using the Birch Trees Die-namics and some snowy hills out of white card stock using the stitched edges from the Stitched Slimline Snow Drifts Die-namics.
Next, I die-cut the stitched panel from the Slimline Starter Die-namics out of Heavyweight Translucent Vellum and splattered it with white ink to add interest and emulate a snowfall.
I mounted all the scene builder elements on the vellum panel, creating a cute winter scene, and adhered it on a card front made out of Blue Yonder Prestige card stock.
I finished off the card by heat embossing the sentiment in white on a strip of Pineapple Prestige card stock and mounted it on my card front along with the two adorable foxes.
Now it’s your turn!
