A new Outside the Box challenge is up on the MFT Blog and today I’d like to share my project, inspired by this month’s theme, featuring the adorable Boo Crew stamp set along with the Outside the Box Die-namics and Outside the Box Grass Die-namics.
Here is my box card for the Challenge, the theme for this month is “Halloween & Fall”:
I started to work on this card by creating the box structure. I really love box cards! They’re just perfect to create dimensional scenes and showcase your gorgeous images.
I die-cut the main structure and the background panel out of Kraft card stock using the Outside the Box Die-namics elements. For the back mat panel I used a piece of patterned paper from the Creepy Confections Patterned paper pad. I also die-cut a circle out of the background panel and mat to create a fun peek-a-boo window.
Next, I die-cut four interior shelves out of white card stock using the Outside the Box Grass Die-namics and ink blended them with two shades of green ink to mimic the look of a field.
Then, I randomly stamped some of the smaller images from the Boo Crew stamp set on the box structure, using Kraft Premium Dye ink and creating a fun Halloween pattern. I mounted the box and inserted the interior grassy shelves, adding a die cut spooky fence all around it and in between the field.
Finally, I heat embossed the sentiment in white on a strip of Pineapple Prestige card stock and added it in front of my box card along with all the other characters to complete the scene! Such fun!
