Hello and welcome to the MFT October Release New Product Launch!
All of the new amazing products we’ve been sharing for the past few days are NOW available at My Favorite Things! Yay! :)
My project for today’s New Product Launch celebration is a fun Christmas box card featuring the amazing Put the Jolly in the Holidays stamp set and the Mini Slimline Outside the Box Die-namics.
To begin, I stamped the adorable critters from the Put the Jolly in the Holidays stamp set, along with some presents and a bunch of trees, and colored them with Copic Markers before using the matching Die-namics to cut them out.
Then, I created the slimline box structure and die-cut the box base out of Chantilly Cream card stock and the background mat out of Heavyweight Translucent Vellum, using the dies included in the Mini Slimline Outside the Box Die-namics.
Next, I die-cut the snow shelves out of white card stock using the Mini Slimline Outside the Box Snow Drifts Die-namics and carefully assembled the box, inserting all the shelves into it, perfectly spaced.
I also added a snow drift on the background mat, in order to enrich the scene and provide the perfect pop of interest.
Finally, I heat embossed the sentiment in white on a strip of Red Hot card stock, adhered it on my box card front panel and added all the stamped images on the shelves, creating a jolly winter scene!
Head over to the MFT Blog to see all the wonderful projects made by the design team and friends using the October release!

Happy crafting and happy shopping!
