Hi there! The beautiful Flowers in Bloom Card Kit is now available for purchase at the MFT Store!
I have a new card to share with you today, highlighting the gorgeous products from the Flowers in Bloom Card Kit.
To start, I stamped the blooms using Antique Linen Distress ink and added a first layer of color using my Copic markers. Next, I added some details and accents with my Polychromos pencils. It took me a while to color these flowers, but I’m very happy with the result! :)
I sprinkled some Coral Crush Color Burst on a wet watercolor sheet to create a splotchy background and framed it with a die-cut frame, from the A2 Rectangle Frames Die-namics. I used a vellum layer between the frame and the watercolor panel to mute its tones a bit.
I repeatedly stamped the “hello” word with Grout Gray dye ink on a card base, creating a custom background pattern, and foam mounted the frame on it, along with the colored flowers.
Finally, I heat embossed the sentiment in white on a strip of Coral Crush card stock and added it on my card, too.
Visit the MFT Blog for a closer look at this amazing new kit and for more inspiration from the DT.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Happy crafting!
