Hello! Today I’m back with the newest MFT Color Challenge 121.
This challenge features Pineapple. Orange Zest, Poppy and Blu Raspberry. This palette is just beautiful – it reminds me of summer!
My card, inspired by this week’s color combination, features the awesome Impact Alphabet Die-namics along with two adorable tropical feathered friends from the BB Sunshine & Friendship and BB Drink Up the Sunshine stamp sets.
To begin, I die-cut the bold letters out of Pineapple, Orange Zest and Poppy card stock and stamped some tropical flowers on them, using one of the beautiful flowers from the BB Sunshine and Friendship stamp set.
Then, I repeatedly stamped a tropical leaf from the same stamp set, using Grout Gray dye ink, on a white card stock panel to create a custom background pattern.
I trimmed the white panel down a bit and foam mounted all the elements on it, adding two funny feathered friends peeking out from the letters.
Finally, I heat embossed two sentiments from the Greeting & Salutations stamp set on Blu Raspberry card stock and added them to my scene, too.
