Hello everyone! Today I have a funny birthday card to share, highlighting the amazing Dragon Wishes Stamp Set by Mama Elephant. I made this card as a Guest Designer for their March Release.
These mini dragons are just adorable! :) They’re so fun to color and I really love how you can easily pair them up with Me and My Dragon Stamp Set – another awesome set from Mama Elephant – to create tons of magical projects!
To begin, I die-cut a panel out of white cardstock using the scalloped frame from the Framed Tags – Chelsea – Creative Cuts and stamped a lot of tiny stars on it (included in the Dragon Wishes set) using Evening Gray dye ink by Altenew. In this way I created my custom stamped background.
Then, I stamped all the images with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored them with Copics adding some shades and textures to my cute little dragons.
I stamped the sentiment from the Dragon Wishes Stamp Set in black in the middle of my die-cut panel and mounted all the images around it, using foam tape for dimension.
Finally, I ink blended and splattered the edges of a card base with Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn distress inks and foam mounted my front panel on it. I also added some sparkling clear sequins as embellishment.
