Hi there!
We’re halfway to the BIG Day! Only 3 days left until the new MFT June Release!
All the new products will be available for purchase on Tuesday, June 9 at 10:00 am EDT.
I have a fun shadow box card to share with you today, highlighting the amazing Sunny Vibes stamp set and coordinating Die-namics and the Ocean Motion Die-namics.
I started by creating the shadow box structure using Primitive Cream card stock and die-cut the inner window using one of the dies from the Elegant Rectangle STAX Die-namics set.
Next, I created all the background elements.
I die-cut a couple of waves out of Summer Splash Prestige Card Stock and Heavyweight Translucent Vellum using one of the edges from the Ocean Motion Die-namics and added some white splatters on them, for a messy look. Then, I used the ground edge from the Under the Sea Die-namics to create the sand dunes and ink blended them with a soft layer of brown-yellow ink.
I stamped all the images from the Sunny Vibes stamp set and colored them with Copic markers before die-cutting them using the coordinating dies.
Next, I mounted all the elements on my shadow box card creating a summer dimensional scene.
I really love how much dimension you can create with shadow box cards! Such fun!
Finally, I heat embossed the sentiment in white on a strip of Coral Crush Prestige Card Stock and glued it on the inside, too.
Don’t forget to visit the MFT Blog during the countdown to learn more about all the products revealed today and more ideas using them.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
See you again tomorrow for another card using the upcoming MFT June Release products!
Happy crafting!
