Hi there and thanks for stopping by! Today I want to share with you a project featuring a cute owlet from My Favorite Things. He’s so funny, peeping out of that bold rainbow sentiment!
I stamped the owlet with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with Copics. Then, using the Colorless Blender, I added some texture on its feathering. Isn’t it the cutest?!
I die cut the word “thanks” several times off black cardstock and stacked them toghether to create a thicker sentiment. I cut the last layer off white paper and colored it with Copics, giving it a rainbow dotty look. Finally, I added the colored layer to my stack, slightly off-centered, leaving a black shadow on its left side.
To complete my bold rainbow sentiment composition, I die cut a circle off white cardstock and stamped a words pattern on it with Evening Gray dye ink from Altenew. Then, I heat embossed the second part of the sentiment, in white, on a strip of black cardstock.
On my card base, I blended some Wild Honey Distress Ink over Sun Ray Stencil from My Favorite Things to increase the focus on my cards’s center. As final touch, I added a glossy heart on the top of my front panel.
Hope you like it!
Happy crafting!
