Today I’m back with a card for MFT June Mid-Month Release Countdown Day 2, featuring the beautiful Corner Blooms stamp set. Don’t forget that all of the amazing new products will be available on Tuesday, June 23 at 10:00 am EDT.
To begin, I stamped the image on the opposing corners of a card front using Milk Chocolate Hybrid ink to frame the central area of the card and spotlight the sentiment.
Next, I colored all the flowers and foliage with colored pencils – using a blender pencil to achieve a subtle color blend – and added some dark splatters in the central area.
I trimmed down the stamped panel and mounted it on a card base made out of Natural card stock.
Finally, I heat embossed the sentiment – from the Smile Maker stamp set – in white on a strip of Natural card stock and added it in the middle of my card front, using foam tape for dimension.
