Hello friends!
It’s the final day of the MFT October Release Countdown and all of the amazing new products will be available tomorrow, October 5 at 10:00 am EDT.

MFT Release Countdown Day 1

I have a fun Christmas rocker card to share with you today, highlighting the beautiful Gifts from Santa stamp set and matching Die-namics. This new set includes two Santa images that can be composed by combining separate layers – you’ll definitely love playing with color as you choose your accent hues.

For the card base, I die-cut a circle shape out of Kraft card stock using the 4” die from the A2 Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics and folded it in half. Then, I die-cut another stitched circle shape out of Heavyweight Translucent Vellum, using the 3 ½ “ die from the same Die-namics set and adhered it on the base layer, in order to use it as a background.
Next, I die-cut two circles out of white card stock and used the Stitched Slimline Snow Drifts Die-namics to create the snowy hills, mounting them on the card front using foam tape for dimension.

I stamped the fun Santa holding a bunch of gifts using brown ink and then stamped the other layers to color the image. I used Red Hot Premium dye ink for the dress and Butterscotch, Sour Apple, Summer Splash and Princess Pink Premium dye ink for the gifts. Then, I completed the image adding some details with Copic Markers.

Finally, I heat embossed the sentiment in white on a strip of Butterscotch Prestige card stock and mounted it on my rocker card, along with the jolly Santa and a bunch of sparkling clear sequins to complete the look off to perfection.
