Hi there!
We have one more day to preview the MFT Friendship Card Kit before it’s available for purchase tomorrow, January 26 at 10:00 am EST! :)
My card today features the amazing What Friendship Means stamp set and the Stitched Jumbo Fishtail Flags Die-namics.
I started by stamping the adorable kitten and colored it with Copic Markers before die-cutting it using the matching Die-namics.
I used the Stitched Jumbo Fishtail Flags Die-namics to die-cut two fishtail flags of different sizes, the bigger one out of white card stock and the smaller out of Butterscotch Prestige card stock.
Next, I stamped the amazing Best Friend Background on both of them for added interest and stamped the sentiment directly on the white flag, using Milk Chocolate Hybrid ink.
Then, I decided to die-cut another flag out of Eiffel Tower Prestige card stock to create a drop shadow for the white fishtail panel, in order to increase the contrast with the background, and adhered it behind the white layer slightly off-centered.
I finished off the card by mounting the fishtail flags on a card front and added the cute kitten and a tiny heart to complete my design.
Visit the MFT Blog to learn more about all the wonderful products included in the Friendship Card Kit and for more inspiration from the DT.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Join me back tomorrow for my Release Day project!
Happy crafting!
