Today I’m so happy to join Tracey McNeely’s 25 Days of Christmas Tags with My Favorite Things as today’s sponsor! Such fun!
I’ve created three tags for this amazing event, featuring the Winter Songbird stamp set and the Tag Builder Blueprints 6 Die-namics.
I started by stamping and coloring all the cute images from the Winter Songbird stamp set and die-cut them using the coordinating dies.
Next, I die-cut the circle tags and tag toppers out of Primitive White and Natural card stock using the Tag Builder Blueprints 6 Die-namics and mixed them to create three different tags.
For the sentiments, I used three Christmas-themed phrases from the Bitty Holiday Wishes stamp set and heat embossed them in white on Wild Cherry card stock stripes.
TAG #1
To create the first tag, I used Primitive White for the tag base and Natural card stock for the inner circle. I ink blended some Sweet Tooth Pigment ink over the Cable-Knit Sweater Stencil to add a cozy texture on the inner circle before adhering it to the tag base.
Then, I added the sentiment, the cute bird and the leafy branches on it, using foam tape for dimension.
TAG #2
For the second tag, I used Primitive White card stock for the tag topper and white card stock for the base. I ink blended some blue ink on the base and adhered the tag topper on it, adding a white splattered vellum layer in between to soften the background colors a bit.
Then, I mounted the sentiment and the adorable images on it, using foam tape to pop some of them up for dimension. I also added some golden stars as embellishment.
TAG #3
For the last one I used Natural card stock for the tag topper and white card stock for the tag base. I ink blended some orange ink on the base before mounting the tag topper on it. Finally, I added the sentiment, the sweet bird and the floral elements on the circle tag, using foam tape for dimension.
