Hi! Today I’m back with the newest MFT Birthday Project Challenge!
The theme for this month is “Peek-a-Boo Surprise”. Such Fun! My project features the Birthday Bear & Friends stamp set and the Peek-a-Boo Wheel Die-namics.
To begin, I colored all the stamped images with my Copic markers and die-cut them using the coordinating dies.
Next, I stamped some confetti on a Primitive Cream card stock panel and placed the images on it to get an idea where I wanted the speech bubble to go. Then, I die-cut the speech bubble and the notch out of the front panel.
I die-cut the toothed wheel out of white card stock and stamped a label on each quarter, near the border. I placed the wheel behind the front panel, secured it in place with a brad, and stamped the sentiment rotating the wheel to the next stamping area after I stamped each word.
I foam mounted the front panel on a card base and mounted all the images on it, creating a funny birthday scene. I used a scrap of dotted patterned paper to create the ground, adding a colorful accent to my card.
Finally, I heat embossed the second part of the sentiment in white on a strip of Coral Crush card stock and added a bunch of sequins as embellishment.
