Hi there and welcome to the MFT June Release New Product Launch! :)

It’s time to shop! Yay!!

MFT New Release Products Available

Today I’m sharing a card highlighting the super fun Fish You Were Here stamp set and the gorgeous Under the Sea Die-namics. This new die set has the perfect assortment of scene-building accents to suit all your underwater projects and I thought that an inside shadow box card would be just perfect to show off all its amazing features.

I started to work on this card by die-cutting several coral, rocks and algae out of colored card stock. I used the ground edge included in the Under the Sea Die-namics to die-cut a dune out of white card stock where to place my ground elements and ink blended it with Wild Honey Distress ink.

Then, I ink blended some Cracked Pistachio and Tumbled Glass Distress inks over the Drifts & Hills stencil to create a wavy background for my underwater scene.

I created the shadow box card base using Blue Yonder card stock and die-cut the window using a die from the Stitched Dome STAX Die-namics.

I colored all the fun fish with Copic markers and die-cut them using the coordinating dies before mounting them inside and outside the window. Yay, lots of dimension! :D
I heat embossed the main sentiment in white on a strip of Berrylicious card stock and added it to the card’s inside, too.

I kept the outside’s design of the card very simple. I heat embossed the sentiment in white and added a couple of fish.
