Hi everyone and thanks for joining me today!
I’m popping in to share a fun birthday project featuring Flora and Shadow, two cute owlets from Purple Onion Designs. Birthday cards are always so fun and I really enjoyed creating this one! :)
I started to work on this card by stamping all the images with Memento Tuxedo black ink and coloring them with Copic markers. I used a vivid color palette for the Little Packages and added details on my little owls with my colorless blender.
I die-cut a grid window frame out of white cardstock using the Grid Window Creative Cuts by Mama Elephant. Then, I repeatedly stamped the striped background block from the Background Blocks by Concord & 9th on my card base to fit the square windows of the grid. I stamped them with Distress Oxide colors: Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron and Cracked Pistachio.
I heat embossed the sentiment in gold on a die-cut vellum circle and mounted it onto my card base surrounded by all the other images.
Finally, I added some sparkling clear sequins and a bunch of clear stars sequins as embellishment.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
Happy crafting!
